Thirty years ago, there were around 1,300 post offices in Denmark. Today, there are very few left. As Denmark’s eastern-most post office, the Christiansø Post Office is one of the most visited post offices in Denmark, used frequently by residents and visitors to the island all year round.
The post office accepts and handles letters and packages, sells stamps, etc.
The post office is open Monday–Thursday, 10:30 am–noon

Anne Eva Madsen has manned the desk at the post office on the main street, Gaden, and delivered the post to residents for many years.
